Yahoo Mail

    Hi,
    Yahoo changed the format of my email. The main thing I have problems with is that the mail automatically organizes the messages in ASCENDING order. I keep changing back to DESCENDING order and then have to go thru the process of clicking several things to get it to display the most recent message on top! Otherwise I see the oldest message in my INBOX!!!:mad: If someone can please help me fix this I would be somewhat more happier w/ this new blasted YM!

    Is this happening on a computer or your phone?

    This is on a computer. I forgot to mention also that I have not upgraded to "the new Yahoo Mail.

    Hi,
    I should also add that this is on a US Gov't computer at work. I'm using Internet Explorer. Do you have any thoughts to what might cause this? I've tried to look for how to contact Yahoo to ask them about it, but can't find a way to email them. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Jeff,

    To change the default sorting of your inbox go to View and select Date.

    You may need to click it twice to get your ascending/descending preference to stick.

    Hi Popowich,
    I want to input a screenshot, but don't know how to do it. Anyways, The YM still puts the messages in Ascending order with the oldest email showing 1st or on top. Pls let me point out that I HAVE NOT got the NEWEST YM yet. Also, It is in Date Format, but it still automatically goes to Ascending view by default! Any other ideas or suggestions wud be greatly appreciated. If you can tell me how to insert a Screenshot here would be helpful as well.
