While I was on vacation, I didn't always have access to my phone charger. I noticed that my battery was dying really fast. The solution was to turn off the "fetch mail" feature for yahoo mail. You can turn it off completely and it will only fetch mail manually when you open the app or you can set it up to "fetch" on longer intervals to save on your battery.

3. Fetch new data
4. disable push
5. select "manual" to only load when you load the app to save on your battery. This stops it from loading in the background at regular intervals and draining your battery.
