    Welcome back dock,

Do you have a free Yahoo or a Yahoo Plus account?

Free Yahoo accounts do not support pop3 but YPOPS works for some people to get pop3 access to their free Yahoo accounts :

Here are the directions for pop3 access to a Yahoo Plus account :

You mentioned that you already tried to configure Microsoft Outlook 2003 but it did not work. What did not work? Do you have a problem sending, receiving, or both? Do you get any error messages? Do you have an anti-virus or firewall program installed that may be interfering? Any additional information that you can provide will help us to guide you in the right direction.

    :thanks: -Raymond

I use McAfee ant virus and firewall and webroot spy sweeper. I got the following error. The password is correct and works on Yahoo.

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'yahoo', Server: 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Error logging in. Please visit http://mail.yahoo.com', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

    Hello,

Are you using your full email address as your username in your incoming email server settings?

You look to have a bad password flavored error, but it might be that you are not using your full email address as the username.

Also, have you tried turning off virus scanning of your email for a few minutes to see if that fixes the problem?

Don't forget to turn it back on after the test!

    -Raymond
