Windows live Mail will not let me attach files or a photo

Hi
I can't attach files/photos or insert a photo or photos in Window Live Mail. I don't know why this is happening now (the last few weeks) because I was having no problem attaching files or photos within an email before. Did I accidentally click something that changed the way I send and receive emails ? This is frustrating as I need to send emails often with attachments. I have a new Toshiba laptop computer - using Windows 8.1 O/S.

Hi Gary,

Did you get an error message? Was the option to attach a file greyed out?

It may be interesting for other members if this menu button wasn't working and if there was a solution.
