Windows live I'd incorrect

So i've been trying to access my email but for some reason Hotmail doesn't seem to recognise my email or its been deleted some how...

I'm positive that my email exists because it's tied to an online game I play.
I can also log into facebook with this email.

I tried all the possible passwords it could be but it didn't work so I went for the "forgot password" option to try and reset the password but it keeps saying that my windows live ID is incorrect...

Help!
