I just purchased a new computer and has Windows 7 which has not Outlook Express. I am trying to use Windows Live 2011. All settings are correct as I called my ISP for help and still can't accept or sent emails. I am also using AVG for virus protection

    Hello,

What error message do you get when you try to send and receive email?

Do both your firewall and anti-virus programs have pop3 (port 110) amd smtp (port 25) allowed in their settings?

Do they also allow the Windows Live Mail executable to connected out to the internet (some firewalls block by program name)
