If the email is meant for privacy does it make sense to require one of my email addresses from outside their system?

I tried to register again (I tried myself within the past couple months) and still get the closed beta notice:

Do you have a way to send an invite code from the account?

Hi guys, this is tied in with a recovery system that we plan to implement. But if you are worried, just use a disposable email address during registration :) I'm one of the front-end devs at lavaboom. You can pull our latest code from github, in the development branch to get the latest features. Thanks for your support.
