What are the pop3 settings for an Outlook.com email account

Hello,

The following are the settings for accessing an Outlook.com account from a mail program on your computer or an email service such as Gmail that supports checking email hosted at other email providers:

• Type of account: POP3
• Email Address: example@outlook.com
• Password: your outlook.com password
• The incoming mail server is pop3.live.com (port 995)
• The outgoing mail server is smtp.live.com (port 25)

• For the outgoing mail server check the box for My server requires authentication
• For both incoming and outgoing mail check the box for This server requires a secure connection

If you have the Microsoft Outlook desktop program that comes with Microsoft Office you can use this Hotmail/Outlook connector instead of manually configuring your email acocunt.
