Was my Proton mail hacked?

    Congrats and thank you for fighting the good fight! My question is the following... if I suspect someone accessed my account is there a way to prove it?

    ProtonMail does not have the activity log enabled by default.

    If you don't have it enabled already you won't be able to see information about past logins.

    To view the authentication logs, or enable them going forward, go to Settings, click the Security tab, and then select your preference:

    BTW, the first two options that come to mind for accessing an account are you walking away from a computer that's logged in or a keylogger getting both your login and decrypt passwords.

    True MFA with something like Google Authenticator would prevent this issue since those MFA codes can only be used once and are useless to a 3rd party even if intercepted.

    Why do you suspect your account was accessed? Have you run a spyware/malware scan on your computer?
