Verizon FIOS with MSN and an iPhone

I am using Verizon fios with MSN. I just got a I-Phone. Is there a way I can keep my current e-mail and view and delete messages on the I-Phone and sync this.

You can connect to the MSN account with a pop3 connection from the iPhone.

Set your primary computer to download email and the secondary to leave a copy of messages on the server.

Hotmail recently opened up pop3 access for all accounts. Here are the general directions for configuring pop3 access to your account :

Sorry, but at this time Hotmail offers pop3 and http (webmail).

I do see that an imap name imap.live.com exists in DNS, but it does not answer on the imap port 143/tcp.

Maybe they plan on offering it in the future, but at this time IMAP is not available.

You will need to rely on a primary and secondary computer setup with your iPhone until that time.

It's worth mentioning that multiple Windows computers can sync access to the account if they are running Windows Live Mail.
