Unable to send out emails

    I receive emails to my aol address, but cannot respond, or send out new emails. The messages always go to an outbox. I use an iPad. Safari is the search tool.

    It sounds like your Outgoing (SMTP) server settings are incorrect.

    On the iPad:
    Click Settings > Mail > 'account name' (eg: xxx@aol.com)
    Click on the Account email address and check that the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server is the correct server (aol.com).

    You may benefit from simply deleting the account and setting it up again as the iPad will automatically download the correct settings for AOL.
