    Hi @Rasputin

Two step authentication (2 step logins, 2 factor authentication) is typically a second form of authentication needed in addition to a password.

Sometimes is a code from Google Authenticator, sometimes it's a short set of numbers sent to your phone when you're trying to login.

The theory is that "something you know" such as your password, and "something you have" such as your phone helps to prevent others from gaining access to your accounts that have two step authentication enabled.

If your password is compromised, the second authentication required should help prevent the compromised password resulting in a compromised account.
