Are your mailing list test messages being blocked as spam? It is not uncommon for test e-mails and bounce messages to be filtered by spam filters. If you send a regular message to the mailing list with correct English spelling, punctuation, and grammar, you should not have a problem with the mailing list message getting past spam filters.
