How can I sync my e-mails on phone, i-pad and laptop? More specifically, If i delete e-mails on any of my mobile devices why is it not automatically deleted on my laptop?

    Hi Nutch,

Which email service do you use?

If you change your settings from POP3 to IMAP should should be able to have the same view of your email from all devices connecting to the account.

I use yahoo e-mail. I just tried changing my mobile devices to IMAP, but how do I do that on my laptop? It does not allow my to see if it is POP or IMAP when setting it up?
    Thanks for your help.

I use Yahoo Mail. When I set up the account on phone and iPad it allows me to choose pop or imap. On my laptop, it does not give me an option.

    Hi Nutch,

The Yahoo Mail IMAP & SMTP settings are:

incoming mail server name is imap.mail.yahoo.com (port 993)
outgoing mail server name is smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 465)

What mail program are you using on your laptop?

If you are going to the yahoo mail web site you don't need to worry about anything.

If you are using a program such as Mozilla Thunderbird, please let us know which one and we'll get you the correct directions.
