Strange problems with mail

    I have a MacBook, OS version 10.9.3. Everything was good. I had gmail using an IMAP server, and 2 accounts using a POP server. Then Icloud tried to add an IMAP account. Things went haywire. I can't receive or send any mail.

    I am using for incoming, no authentication.
    I am using for outgoing, no authentication.

    Gmail was correct, now I don't know how to label incoming and outgoing servers. And I don't know about Icloud.

    I had looked up the self-care help from TWC, which is not clear.

    Anyway, I would like to resume getting my mail on the desktop.

    Please advise.
