Sending email from Windows Live Mail

New Email
I just moved my AOL program from Thunderbird (leaving Thunderbird still active, but no longer my default version) to Windows Live Mail.

I used Windows 7 for Dummies (2009 version) to instruct me in the procedure, and it seemed to have worked . . . but I sent an email for the first time -- and it arrived, eventually. Seemed to have taken several minutes -- BUT, no copy of my email appeared in the "Saved" list. I only knew it was received because I got a response in my Inbox. What am I missing?

Emails not found in Sent window on Windows Live Mail

In case my first question (posted 4/6/13) was unclear, I'll restate it now that I've looked closer at the situation. -- I moved my AOL account to Windows Live Mail on my desktop computer (a Dell). Everything seems to be working well except for email that I send out. Although it is received -- I've gotten responses to it -- a copy does not go to the Sent window. I've done a search (using Search Programs and Files in the Start program on my computer, and I find the sent files there. Only then can I highlight them and move them to the Sent window. Can I fix this?
