I am curious on how to send an attachment or file with alpine without actually attaching it. Is it possible?, because I am working on a homework assignment and my teacher said he does not want it attached. I am currently lost on how not to attach.
Here are is his exact words:"For full credit, do not send your file as an “attachment”

This is homework, and it's Linux, so I'm going to point you in the right direction and not give an exact answer

Reading "man" pages is a great way to get information. Most commands have a -h flag to get basic help too.

    > man alpine
    > alpine -h

It's a interesting question. I believe you're being asked about the cli mode file attachment flags.
