I was trying to sign up for a new email account and failed the captcha so many times I was blocked with this error message:

Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension.

I understand wanting to keep out the automated registration bots, blocking real people too can't be good though.

It's strange I didn't mention that. I don't remember, and that date is beyond my web browser history so I can't check against my post time.

CAPTCHA's give me some grief sometimes. There are a couple sites where it often takes me a couple tries.

Also, sort of related, I'm seeing different difficulty CAPTCHA's from the same web site to different web browsers.

For example, SenderScore.org, Firefox gets an easy CAPTCHA and Chrome gets a difficult CAPTCHA.

The style of word on the left sent to Chrome is the type that I make the most mistakes.

Chrome (left, 2 words) vs. Firefox (right, numbers):

The one on the left is annoying,i never knew this was browser specific.
