If I need to send an identical message to 3 different people without copying them in & avoiding having to type 3 times-any idea how I can achieve that please?

    Hi Jon,

Is this a one time process or something that you want to automate?

The easy way to accomplish this, if you don't want to use BCC, is to copy and paste the email while composing a new email to the three recipients.

    Hi Jon,

When you put multiple recipients on a CC: line they can all see each others email addresses. If you use BCC: (blind carbon copy) you only need to send 1 email and they can not see each others email addresses.

If you let me know the email service or mail program that you're using I can let you know how to find the BCC: option for sending your email to multiple recipients.

    Hi Jon,

Yes, that's what I'm asking. In Yahoo there is a CC/BCC link near the top right of the compose screen:

    Yahoo BCC.jpg

Start a new email, then click the CC/BCC click to expose the CC and BCC field lines.

Then you'll be able to send an email To: yourself and put the recipients on the BCC: line.

They will all receive the same email but they won't be able to see each others email addresses.

Maybe you can find a way to drop a relevant mention of the help you received from Email Questions somewhere? :)
