    1. Wireless laptop stopped connecting to the Internet after an Outlook Express update.
    2. After extensive searching found through a diagnostic test that POP3 Server and SMTP servers do not ping. Everything else pings and I have a strong wireless connection.
    3. I added the Verizon POP3 and SMTP for wireless addresses as recommended into the mail section of Outlook Express. Still does not work.
    4. I use MSN as my search engine and Verizon for email. Is this the problem? If so how do I change things?
    5. Do I have to have Outlook Express to get mail? I never use it.
Any suggestions of other things to try?

    Thanks,

Are you sure you're connecting to your wireless and not your neighbor's?
