lately I have been logging into aol and my mailbox is empty, although i've kept old messages and mail that I like keeping right where I want them. On top of that, my environment also dissapears. What is going on. I have been a member for many years and this has never happened before.. what do I do when all my mail just is gone? I have found some of it in the other mail slots, like OLd or Deleted... how did they all get there?

    Hello,

Have you tried to upgrade your Adobe Flash player?

If your email is changing folders this sounds like a worse problem with your account than conflicts with what is install on your computer.

Which version of Internet Explorer do you have installed?

Have you tried upgrading to IE8? Internet Explorer 8: Home page

Are you using the desktop software or a web browser.

It sounds like the desktop software?

What happens if you login at http://webmail.aol.com

Can you read your email from the webmail interface?
