I need some serious help getting back into my account, as soon as possible.

I am interning abroad in China, and to no real surprise, I am now locked out of my account with virtually no way to get back into it. Hotmail thinks I am somebody else trying to hack my account, since I have to use a VPN to access my email.

I tried doing the account recovery form, but I don't have enough information since this account is really only used to sign up for services and programs (I pretty much have NO sent emails, or made folders, or anything like that).
I am unable to do the "Send Text" or "Phone call" recovery option since, once again, I am in China and there is no way for me to receive these texts or calls.

I looked everywhere for an email to contact, but this forum was all I can find. It is very important that I get back into my account; I need to access it to change some account settings for a program related to the work I am doing. Is there anyway I can recover my account?

Thanks for the response, but neither of those solutions come close to helping me. I can't verify my account using a phone number because I am China, and changing the number won't help because I don't have a phone that works here (I am not trying to pay hundreds of dollars in roaming fees for one text message). Resetting my password won't help either, because I know what the password is, and technically I can log into the account.

The issue is, when I login in, it thinks somebody is hacking my account, and I don't have enough information to prove the account is mine, because I only use to sign up for services and have never sent an email using it. Apparently, providing all of my sensitive personal information and credit card number isn't enough to prove it is myself. I just emailed secure@microsoft.com, but supposedly they don't provide any true support.

    Seems like I am screwed.
