Increasing the font size on your computer screen can help prevent eye strain and headaches

    I noticed that phrase on the back of a magazine this morning.

    It's an add for Tylenol but also included keyboard shortcuts for increasing the font size in web browsers :

    Windows: control + shift + the +/= key

    Mac: command + shift + the +/= key

    After using "Ctrl Shift +" to increase the size you can reset it with Ctrl-0 (zero)

    These commands are not limited to web browsers.

    Some mail programs, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, support them too.
