Here are several troubleshooting steps that can help you fix the problem:
- Are you getting duplicates of every email? Check your mail filters & rules
- Turn off "keep a copy of mail on the server" in your mail program settings
- Create an IMAP connection to your mail service. Do you see duplicates on the mail server? Can you switch to IMAP?
- Try increasing the incoming mail server timeout setting in your mail program

- Is your virus scanner timing out your connections? Increase the timeouts. We recommend the free version of Avast virus scanner.
