How to setup message replies above or below original email in Mozilla Thunderbird

    Hello,

    In Mozilla Thunderbird there are three options when replying to an email:

    • start my reply above the quoted text
    • start my reply below the quoted text
    • select the quoted text
    To change your preference:

    • Click Tools and select Account Settings
    • Click into the section for the account you want to modify
    • Click Composition and Addressing
    • To the right it says "Automatically quote the original message when replying"
    • Check the box and then select your preferred option from the list below the checkbox
    • To save your changes click OK
