    Hello,

It is possible to export your contact list from Yahoo mail in a variety of formats with a few easy steps:

    • First, if you are in the new Yahoo mail, switch back to Yahoo Classic
    • Go your your Contact List, and then click Export near the top right of the screen

    • On the following screen there are a few options available. CSV files are usually the easiest to import into another email program.

    Hello,

Do you want to export your contacts from Yahoo Mail?

First, in the left side navigation, click Contacts:

    Yahoo Contacts.JPG

Then, click the box to select all contacts, then click Action -> Export:

The export file can be saved as a backup that can be imported to Yahoo, or used to migrate your contacts to a new email service provider such as Outlook.com

During December 2013, if your contacts are empty, you may need to wait for Yahoo to finish restoring your account.

There is nothing a Yahoo member can do to speed up the restore process related to 11/25 - 12/09:

If the problem is that you can not login to mail.yahoo.com to get your contacts, please see this guide:

Over 2 million online accounts were recently compromised before the service outage started.

If you suspect your account was compromised (well, even if you don't) please follow this guide too to make sure you have the latest recommended security settings and that your account information is correct and up to date:
