    Hello,

Did your Thunderbird download a duplicate copy of your emails?

    • Maybe your email service provider had to restore your mailbox?
    • Maybe your ISP did a server migration?
    • Maybe a web site went crazy and sent you lots of emails?
This add-on does a great job of removing the duplicate emails from inbox and folders:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/remove-duplicate-messages/

    After downloading the install file:

Mozilla Thunderbird Tools Addons.JPG Mozilla Thunderbird install addon from file.JPG

Go to Tools -> Addons and then use the Gear icon to select Install add-on from File.
