You can control your spam folder fully. If your AOL application declared any mail as spam, it automatically sends the email to junk folder.
if you have clicked on the spam then your email is marked as spam message and yes it falls under Sender Filter list according to your AOL spam policy.
P.S:-
- You can disable the filter settings to receive mails directly in your inbox.
- Remember that after 5 days your spam folder will get deleted automatically, it is the spam policy of AOL desktop.
