How do I remove my last name from showing in Hotmail email?

I only want my first name to show in my hotmail email account when I send messages.

I think this may have just changed? Before it would only show my first name, but now it has my first and last name. When I try to leave the last name blank, it will not allow it.

I only want my first name to show. Does anybody know how to do this? Or if I have to enter my last name, is there a way to only have the outgoing emails only show the first name? It seems that this may have just starting, like today?

I only want my first name, anyone have any help/suggestions? Thanks.
