Gmail spam folder retention time

Hello,

Is it possible to have the spam folder messages for a shorter period of time say 7-14 days?

I do not see where to configure this setting if it exists.

Nope many times they don't even delete the messages after 30 days. I have over 10,000 messages in mine from the past 3 months. I clear them out manually every once in a while.
