Email Software for Admin

Hi,

What available email tracking software to used for administrator. I'm looking for a software which has a policy to employees email. It will automatically generate and email advise once and employee sent and email that does not conform to the policy.

Do you maintain your own mail servers? If so, what mail server are you running? Are you open to a third party mail hosting service such as LuxSci?
