I need very much to contact someone who supposedly shut down their yahoo email address last april. but their yahoo id is still active and email searches say the email is valid even though it always comes back to me. can anyone give me any insight or advice on what could be going on?:thanks:

    Maybe they blocked you specifically.

Try emailing them from a different email account?

What is the full bounce message?

    aprilsoule,

If you do post a full bounce message here, please remember to anonymize it first, i.e., remove the sender's and recipient's email addresses for privacy.

Also note that if you have a feeling the person may have blocked you for some personal reason, I would not advise emailing them from a different account. I would advise not trying to contact them again.

Do you have their phone number? Facebook?

Again, if you feel they may have blocked your email intentionally, I would not advise contacting them by phone or facebook. They may not appreciate it.
