When composing an email message, I am finding that often when I correct a mistake in typing, the next letter is deleted too so that I have to type everything that follows again. I think this is something to do with autocorrect. How do I switch off/disable autocorrect? The problem only happens after I have made about four corrections. Thanks for your help and insights!

    Hi Fred,

This problem can happen if your insert key is pressed.

The next time this is happening press the insert key and see if the problem stops.

Many thanks Popowich! This has solved the problem. I must have been accidentally pressing the Insert key on the small numerical keypad on my new keyboard when I move it!
