For the 3rd time in 2 months i have been locked out of my Hotmail account. Microsoft keeps telling me for my own protection i have to verify my account. They send a verification code, you use it (if it works) then you have to login, they then ask if you have a security code that can be sent to an email that i can't even remember setting up, and if you say no then they ask you to agree to be locked out for 30 days!!! what's up with this?
I use my account every day and this situation is really getting on my nerves! I"m going back and forth trying to gain access to my account with no luck.

Can anyone offer a solution/advice. I'm really getting desperate and will probably close my account when i finally get back in; i can't take this.

It sounds like your account may have been compromised or that you might be changing geographical locations often enough to trigger abuse protections on your account.
