Changing email hosts

Would you please give me a step by step guide for changing my email host from one that was set up by someone else for my business. I would like to change so it is a yahoo email address.

Why not register a domain name for your business and use that for your business email?

If you really want to use Yahoo these are the general steps:

• Create a Yahoo account
• Turn your existing account into a forward or copy+forward to Yahoo
• If you are using a mail program on your computer, update your settings to use Yahoo IMAP
• Copy your existing email from the old account to the Yahoo account
• Cancel service with the old account if you don't care about it forwarding new email to Yahoo for anyone who doesn't know your new email address
