hi guys im in desperate help, im a beginner on computers but ive just set up my bands website and emails, however when i go to send an email from it fails saying:

Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems

Ive checked my IP on spamhaus and its fine and

ive ran a DNSreport and it says this:

ccsmugglers.co.uk claims to be host stevie.heliohost.org [but that host is at 6*.**.***.2 (may be cached), not 6*.**.***.3]. <br />

how can i sort this out? i have no idea?

    Pleas help

    Thanks

    BB

    Re: Cant send emails???

    Hi BB,

This appears to be a matching forward and reverse DNS problem.

More correctly, mismatching / non-existant reverse and forward DNS.

    2.143.19.65.in-addr.arpa. 86394 IN CNAME 2.subnet0.143.19.65.in-addr.arpa.

    No reverse DNS

Call up LaFrance Internet Services and ask them to create a proper reverse DNS name such as smtp.ccsmugglers.co.ukfor the IP address that handles your outgoing email. Then you will also need to create an A record for smtp.ccsmugglers.co.uk in your zone file hosted by heliohost.org.

If you have multiple IP addresses it is possible that you are expecting the email to be leaving your network at one IP address, but it is leaving your network at the lowest IP which is usually your router / firewall IP.
