My blackberry can not send or receive email / Blackberry missing email

I noticed this some over the AP and figured it might be a useful FYI for some people ...

Dec 23, 2009 (MarketNewsVideo.com via COMTEX) -- BlackBerry users in the
Americas are experiencing delays in message delivery, Research in Motion (RIMM)
said today.

The maker of the device said it is working to fix the problem.

Apparently phone and texting services are working, but email messages cannot be
sent and received. Users in Asia are also reportedly experiencing outages.

Wireless carriers proving service to BlackBerrys include AT&T (T), Sprint Nextel
(S) and Verizon (VZ) although it does not appear the outages are due to their
services.

Research in Motion shares are trading up about half a peffffrcent Wednesday
afternoon.
