I tried Proton Mail 2-3 months ago. Dislike having to wait to register; but, that's life. It appeared as though it was still in beta testing mode. No surprise they disappeared.

Same message as above. Also, timed-out or '404 Not Found' for the past 3 days. Safe-Mail been down so much this year, I opened Yandex last month for back-up. It is official, Safe-Mail can no longer be the primary email address! If Safe-Mail does somehow surface, I will be closing my accounts.
