So my hotmail has been for some reason blocked and my alternative email has not been active for ages and i am not even sure if it exist anymore (i've tried anything) what am i supposed to do now? Got some important stuff on that mail i would like to be able to use soon ...

Got the same problem. I even tried the phone thing but that does not work neither. When i want to add a phone number to my hotmail, it asks for the password one more time and since i dont have it because it has been send to an old mail....
