Default Email Help - comcast smtp server

I had my computer in shop and just got it back. I am setting up my email through Outlook.

I have comcast as my ISP.

I am trying to set up my email clients for Kids Defense Team.

Incoming emails are fine.

My outgoing I know I have to set up as comcast outgoing emails and set up a certain port.

Can you guide me to which port that would be please. Thanks.

Hi Raven,

The outgoing smtp mail server name is smtp.comcast.net using port 25.

Port 587 should also work for Comcast customers and appears to support smtp-auth for users that are off network.

I am able to make a test connection to both ports 25 and 587 from my computer.

Did this information help to solve the problem?
