The follow guide explains how to create a filter in Microsoft Outlook 2003 that will only show the unread email messages in your inbox.

• Open Microsoft Outlook 2003 and view your inbox.
• Right Click on the Sort by Header Status icon and select Customize Current View

• Click the Filter button

• Click the More Choices tab and check the selection for only items that are unread

• Click OK two times to close out the settings windows.
