Copy My Mail is an easy to use service that copies your email messages between two servers. All you need to do is to enter a few pieces of information and our site will transfer all of your email and folders from your old email server to your new email server. You don't have to install any software on your computer since all of the work is done by the Copy My Mail application on this server.
Let's say you are switching from Yahoo to a new email service and you don't want to lose any of the mail stored in your Yahoo account. You could forward your messages by hand, or drag-and-drop them into the new account using a mail porgram on your computer, but that is slow and laborious. It also doesn't always work reliably, especially if your account is large with many years and/or thousands of emails saved in your account.
Using Copy My Mail you can copy your e-mail simply by doing the following:
- Select the source mail system (or type it in if not listed)
- Enter your username and password (Your password is not saved or recorded!)
- Select the destination mail system (or type it in if not listed)
- Enter your username and password (Your password is not saved or recorded!)
- Click the 'Submit' button
Copy My Mail does the rest. It logs into the source mail system, makes a list of your folders and messages and then copies them to the destination mail system. The folder structure is faithfully reproduced and the Read/Unread status of all messages are preserved as well as the dates in the messages. When everything has been copied you will receive an e-mail message notifying you that the transfer has finished. The message contains a summary of the folders and messages that were copied.
