Hotmail Live Login Problem

My friend cannot log on to Hotmail, it states that it service is down and report the problem to MS. I has been over 3 hours. My service works here but hers don't.

It was probably only a temporary problem. MS's servers got hammered yesterday with people trying to download Windows 7. Part of it was authentication through passport which probably crashed the server. No big deal it should be okay by today.
