Hi everybody

I upgraded recently to new yahoo mail from the classic version, but now when I get some mails with some links, they are not click-able

Any idea, why you can not open those links?

Regards

What happens if you switch back to classic and try to send yourself an email with a link in it? Have you tried that?

Actually Classic work without any problem and I was working on that, but lately I got a message from Yahoo team asking me to upgrade to new mail or I may loss my email account or my messages, due to that I been forced to go to new email which I DO NOT LIKE IT BUT i do not want to loss my emails

Her is the message I got from them :

Dear Valued user,

Your email account will be blocked in response to the complaint received by the administration. According to provision 13.3 of Terms and Conditions, Yahoo may at any time terminate its services for accounts.
You can upgrade now to the latest Yahoo! Mail to avoid termination. Once your account has been upgraded, we will restore your account to its normal state.

{MALICIOUS LINK REMOVED}

Kindly note that you have to perform this upgrade as soon as possible to avoid loosing your account details

Thanks for help THERESA

Do not try to click the link in that email!

It is not from Yahoo. It is a phishing email (spam).

It is designed to trick you and steal your username and password!

Report is as spam/phishing and delete it.

That is DEFINITELY a scam. I have always used classic mail and have never been forced to upgrade or threatened to. Yahoo would never threaten that you would lose emails or the account altogether. They would force the upgrade on you but you wouldn't lose anything in the process. It is definitely a scam. When you can't click a link, it's probably for the best.
