I think my yahoomail has been hacked!

Dear all, I think my email has been hacked by an unknown person. Some of my contacts have been calling to notify me that my email account has been sending viruses to their mails. Kindly help me sir. Also, I intend to change my yahoomail password but I can't at the moment because I can't seem to remember the security question I answered then. I need your assistance please on how to change my password without having to answer those security questions. I can prove that the account is mine by sending copies of my personal effects like my credentials and International passport. Thanks.
