Can't access hotmail

Hi, since last night I haven't been able to access hotmail at all. The circle spins round and round before finally displaying an error page. I tried last night at just after midnight, and again today at 10.30am. I use a laptop connected via a cable through a socket to our internet router in another room. When I came to try to connect on another computer (connected wirelessly) my mum had just been on hotmail as normal. When I clicked "Log out" to sign myself in, I got the same buffering circle as I had had on my laptop! Meanwhile my dad is using his hotmail account as I type ... I have tried checking the SSL and TLS settings in Internet options, and have typed various codes into the command prompt, running as administrator. I've tried accessing via Mozilla Firefox, and restarting my computer. I'm not sure what else I can do.
