1 inbox msg showing but no msg

I followed the instructions after your latest update. I closed my browser (Safari) and reopened it, but 1 msg still appeared in my inbox. I then restarted my computer, but that didn't correct the situation. I still show that I have a message in my inbox, but I really don't. Not a big deal, just annoying.
