Blocking emails to a single computer

I have given my old laptop to my granddaughter.
We have changed the Windows welcome name at start up but still get the message that there are x number of emails awaiting. These are my messages which she can't access without my address and password. However how can we stop the x number messages appearing on the welcome screen
