Do you use a secure web browser?

Do you prefer Tor, Aviator, or another option?

What do you think are some of the pros ans cons between these web browsers and standard web browsers such as IE, Firefox, and Chrome?

There are numerous browsers to chose from,including main stream which i don't use,such as IE,FF, Chrome etc.These companies are very well aware of the issues that compromise our security.They have the money & know how to rectify any issue.The obvious reason for not producing a more secure product would hinder their profits.

The many features are to numerous to list also.I'll suggest certain browsers & touch upon a feature or 2.

Browsers which are focused on privacy concerns.
  • Comodo ice dragon,based on FF.
  • Comodo dragon,based on Chromium.
  • Comodo chromodo,based on Chromium.
--->Comodo

Avaitar: Some of the many options,"never send referrer header",tabs are "sandboxed, & the choice of search engines.I use DDG(disconnevt) which is a private search engine.

--->Avaitar

I have never tried "Epic"but looks promising.

I got Aviator installed and started tinkering with it.

@SCRYPTmail and @Tutanota accounts can be created OK with aviator while they fail with Tor.

If I'm understanding correctly this web browser is really a fork of Chrome so comparing to Tor isn't a fair comparison.

With Aviator my home IP is still known to the service providers while it's concealed behind a proxy with Tor.

If you value your privacy, why do you prefer Aviator?

Speaking of--->TOR

To my knowledge,with the exception of TOR no browsers are a proxy.Security should be more than one layer,1 AV & 1 or 2 AM etc.There is no such thing as a bullet proof vest & locks only keep honest people out.The best we can do is to minimize all risks.

I don't use anything that starts with G,this includes a search engine.I don't recall the default setting,is it,or did you set the "referrer header" for "never send a referrer heading".Settings>show advanced settings>privacy>add referrer box.

If you value your privacy, why do you prefer Aviator?

Unlike the main stream browsers who track/log info for profit,Aviator doesn't practice this.
