The default option in Gmail is to let anyone send you an email if they can find your Google+ profile.
To change this setting and limit or turn off email from your Google+ page go to your Gmail settings:
Then in the General tab scroll down to the section for Email from Google+
Select a more appropriate option such as Circles or None, then go to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
